The Double Bassists European meeting will take place in La Ciotat from 30th April to 3rd May 2015. It is organized as a 4 days internship.

 

Teachers for the 4 days:

Antonello from Italy

 

This year, we have chosen to innovate and experience improvisation with two teachers:

Bernard ABEILLE : Double bassist

Eric LE GUEN : Pianist, Professor Suzuki

 

We will have the pleasure of being entertained on the evenings by two different shows:

On May 1st : Bernard Abeille will take us on an amazing journey in the whales world with his musical instrument and discovery of these marine giants

On May 2nd: Eric Le Guen will produce, with all his pupils, a cinema/improvisation concert. This will conclude his set of courses

On May 3rd: Concert of the pupils which will end the internship

 

A few words on organisation:

You will be welcomed early afternoon on Thursday 30th May. You will be given all you need: programms, scores, requested equipment etc…

You will then be taken on a « Discovering La Ciotat «  tour.

Your evening will be free.

You will be accommodated in the hotels or in the Twining Home.

The meals will be taken at the Twining Home.

 

The internship will cost you 270,00€ per person for the students, 170€ for the parents and children, 100€ for children under 10 years old, all inclusive (Hotel/B&B accommodation, meals, courses and entertainment).

Half of this amount will be requested on booking (50% deposit requested) and the other part of this amount before April 30th.
